New Developments in Cosmology and Gravitation from Extended Theories of General Relativity
Description
In the last years, extensions or modifications to the standard 4D theory of general relativity are topics that have originated a great and increasing impact in top original research in gravitation and cosmology. The spectrum of these proposals includes theories with compact and noncompact extra dimensions, scalar-tensor theories, gravity from non-Riemannian geometries, and f(R), f(R;G), and f(T) theories, amongst others.
We cordially invite investigators to contribute with original research or review articles that will stimulate the continuing efforts to have a better insight into some of the intriguing problems and issues related to these interesting subjects. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
- Origin of the cosmological constant
- Dark energy
- Dark matter
- Teleparallelism in gravitation
- Physics of the early universe
- Structure formation after inflation
- Future evolution of the universe
- String and Braneworld inspired cosmological models
- Braneworld inspired inflationary models
Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal’s Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/ahep/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/submit/journals/ahep/cgr/ according to the following timetable:
