The activity of circulating EPCs in the four groups is shown as follows. The migratory (a) and proliferative (b) activities of circulating EPCs in postmenopausal women were lower than those in premenopausal women. There was no difference in the migratory (a) and proliferative (b) activity between control and hyperhomocysteinemia premenopausal women. Nevertheless, the EPC function in hyperhomocysteinemia postmenopausal women was lower than that in control postmenopausal Women.
