The membrane and cytosolic fractions were prepared and subjected to western blot using a specific antibody. Na+/K+-ATPase α1 used as a specific membrane marker protein was not identified in cytosol fraction to confirm a complete separation of cell fractions. β-actin was used as an internal control.
