The effect of EA treatment on mechanical allodynia in the postincisional pain model of rats. Mechanical allodynia of the left hind paw was tested before incision, before EA treatment, 10, 20, and 30 min during EA, and 30 min after EA application. A 50% of paw withdrawal threshold (PWT) significantly increased after EA. ^∗𝑃<0.05, ^∗∗𝑃<0.01 compared with the restriction group; ^##𝑃<0.01 compared with the sham-treatment group.
