Effects of paeonol on cisplatin-induced nitric oxide production. Nitrate levels in kidney tissue were measured in control, cisplatin, and paeonol groups after a single dose of cisplatin (30 mg/kg body wt). Saline: saline alone; Cis: cisplatin alone; Cis + paeonol: paeonol pretreatment and cisplatin treatment. Values shown are the mean ± S.E.M.
