Pediatric Pain Management and Sedation
Description
The scope and providers of pediatric sedations outside the traditional operating room have increased in many parts of the world. There is also increased awareness towards providing analgesia and anxiolysis for pediatric patients. Sedations are performed for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes by pediatricians, emergency physicians, dentists, radiologist, and nurses in addition to intensivists, and anaesthesiologist.
The special issue aims to provide a survey of current developments and new approaches in the field of pediatric sedation and analgesia. Authors are encouraged to submit original papers discussing their own work or discuss current trends and possible future developments in this area. Other types of submissions within the broad topic of pediatric sedation and analgesia will also be considered.
