The Antitumor Peptide CIGB-552 Increases COMMD1 and Inhibits Growth of Human Lung Cancer Cells

COMMD1 is involved in the apoptosis induced by CIGB-552. H460 cells were transfected with control or COMMD1 siRNA and then treated with CIGB-552 (25 μM) for 24 h. The cell cycle distribution analysis was done on FACSCalibur flow cytometer using CellQuest software (Becton Dickinson). The percentage of apoptotic cells (sub-G0 peak) within the total cell population was calculated. Data shown here are from a representative experiment repeated two times with similar results.
