Simulations show the optimal isolation control and its effectiveness. The left simulation presents the isolation strategy to be followed to prevent the epidemic and disease spread. The right simulation presents comparison of the total chronically infected individuals under optimal and constant control. Clearly optimal strategy prevents the epidemic and retains the infected population to a minimum.
