Striatal asymmetry index (SAI) was calculated using the ¹⁸F-FP-CIT BPs of three monkeys infused unilaterally with MPTP into the ICA in this study and five monkeys injected intramuscularly with MPTP in our previous study [17] to compare asymmetric damage of striatal subregions.
