Appraisal of the Possible Role of PPAR<i>γ</i> Upregulation by CLA of Probiotic <i>Pediococcus pentosaceus</i> GS4 in Colon Cancer Mitigation

<div>Biohydrogenation-derived CLA of probiotic GS4 induced PPAR<i>γ</i>-dependent cell death in HCT-116 cells. The HCT-116 cells were pre-incubated for 1 hour with/without BADGE (20 <i>μ</i>M) before treatment of CLA/CLA<sub>GS4</sub> for 48 hour. The percentage of cell viability was determined by MTT assay. Data (means ± SE) of the % of viability pooled from three independent experiments.
